WINNING RAFFLE TICKET FOR TOMFOOLERY!
Right after the bows last night at our closing performance (we had to cancel the final midnight Friday show as you may know), with almost all of our audience present, we took all the tickets we had from the last three weeks and put them in a bag (almost 200 tickets!) and drew one. Amazingly (we were just as surprised as anyone else), the winner was someone who purchased tickets last night, Edward Cramer and his spouse, sitting at Table 2. So we already know who the winner is!
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR DONATIONS. WE TOOK IN ALMOST $800 FOR THE TICKETS WE SOLD WHICH REALLY HELPED US FOR THIS SHOW AND FOR FUTURE SHOWS AS WELL. AND THANK YOU TO THERESA CARDINALE FOR THE DONATION OF HER LATE HUSBAND'S BOOK!

Landmark Musical Theatre's revival of the Tony Award-winning Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical EVITA, will take a new look at the iconic Eva Perón and her ascent to the top as the First Lady of Argentina. The Shelton Theater's Mainstage, an intimate proscenium space with seating for just 72, will let the audience get extremely close to the action and dig deep into the world of the characters in this masterpiece of musical theater. The classic score features some of Webber and Rice’s biggest hits, including On This Night of A Thousand Stars, High Flying Adored, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and of course, the signature song of the show, Don’t Cry for Me Argentina, all performed, as always at Landmark, with live music.
EVITA is presented by special arrangement with The Musical Company, LP, 214 Sullivan Street, Ste. 4, New York, NY, 10012-1354. http://www.themusicalcompany.com Phone: (212) 598-2204. Email: email@example.com
THE DROWSY CHAPERONE
Book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar

June 16 - July 31, 2019
Gangsters-turned-pastry-chefs, a seductive but bumbling Latin lothario, and a well-oiled Chaperone will have you roaring like it was still the 1920s! One of the funniest shows to hit Broadway in the past few decades, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is a valentine to musicals of the early 1900s, taking comic aim at shows of the modern era as well as those of days gone by.
A winner of five Tony Awards (including Best Book and Best Score), this "musical within a musical" features The Man In Chair (his only name) who, cloistered in his apartment, spends his time listening to the classic shows of the Jazz Age. When he invites the audience to listen along with him to a vinyl recording of his favorite musical comedy, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE comes to glorious life on stage inside his apartment. The twists and turns and accompanying hilarity make for a delightful evening of theater.
THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI)
