ALL TOGETHER NOW Safety Requirements

We are finally returning "from the brink" of the 2020-21 Covid-19 pandemic which has shuttered theatres across the country for over a year. We are all very excited about being able to return to the stage but our concern for the safety of both our actors and our audience members remains paramount. We are going to err on the side of caution in our requirements for participation in both the cast and our patrons. As a result, some people will not be eligible to either audition for this production or attend a performance. We apologize if you are unable to participate, but these restrictions are mandated by the need for the utmost in health safety.

CAST REQUIREMENTS

In order to audition for the cast of ALL TOGETHER NOW, please make sure that you understand the following requirements and expectations:

  • All people auditioning on September 2 and 5, 2021, must be two weeks (14 days) past their final Covid-19 vaccination (2nd dosage for Pfizer or Moderna, 1st for Johnson and Johnson) on the date of the audition.
  • Proof of vaccination is required (either a verifiable letter from your health provider or a standard vaccination card or digital reference issued to most people receiving vaccines) at the time of the audition.
  • Masks must be worn properly (covering both nose and mouth) at all times during auditions EXCEPT when singing or delivering monologues or answering the director's questions, or if specifically asked to temporarily remove the mask by a director (for instance, to take a photograph).
  • Note that the mask requirement specifically INCLUDES dance auditions, unless otherwise requested by a director. If you feel that wearing a mask while dancing may be difficult for you, please notify a director and we will consider a possible exception, but please understand if we are unable to grant it, as our primary requirement is to protect the health of all participants.
  • We request that all auditioners practice social distancing to the fullest extent possible while waiting to audition. We understand that this will not always be possible during the auditions but please make every effort to do so.

These requirements are consistent (and in some cases, more stringent) than those required by the current San Francisco Public Health orders. Singing auditions, dialogue auditions and dancing are three of the most risky activities (especially singing) for spreading Covid-19, and so, until we have more experience as a society with the impact of lowered precautions, we are choosing to err on the side of safety. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
